CO-Founder/ CEO

Marc Vezina

Marc Vezina is a seasoned entrepreneur and forward-thinking business executive with over 25 years of experience in private and institutional wealth management. In addition to his leadership role with Enliven, Marc has been an active investor, mentor, and board member with global “first mover” companies.

With his exceptional financial acumen and depth and breadth of leadership experience, Marc has helped multiple companies achieve their operational and transactional goals. He cut his teeth as a senior executive in the wealth management industry for over two decades prior to Enliven.

Marc is a firm believer that social impact is a C-Suite issue. Together with his brother, he co-founded ZSchool in 2017 (now the Z-17 Collective), a global education nonprofit connecting young people, social entrepreneurs and social impact events around technology for good and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Marc received his bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics and holds his Series 7 securities license.

Gary Millrood

Gary Millrood is an accomplished executive, entrepreneur, and dynamic business leader with over three decades of experience in Ed Tech and Workforce Tech where he has launched and invested in innovative startups and served as a trusted advisor to industry leaders. 

Gary leads Enliven's Ed Tech/Workforce Tech ‘Future of Work Practice’. Gary is an expert in corporate and product strategy, business development, fundraising, talent development, and engaging a deep network of experts to empower his clients.

Gary holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marquette University and a Master of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.

Alex Prince

Alex is an innovative business executive and entrepreneur, boasting over two decades of expertise in institutional asset management and investment banking. Alex has been a key player at prestigious institutions such as Merrill Lynch, Highmark Capital Management, Bailard, Inc., GQG Partners, and Prince Capital Group. Throughout his career, he has not only built successful companies but has also played pivotal roles in establishing high-performing sales teams.

Frank Sanders

Frank is a seasoned technology executive with over 25 years of industry experience leading global, diverse engineering teams.  Frank began his career as an independent consultant, developing custom data applications for healthcare and utility companies. He later managed mission-critical data systems at Raytheon before joining MarkLogic, where he rose to VP of Sales Engineering, overseeing global teams and driving growth strategies.

In 2018, Frank joined Snowflake to lead their global partner engineering function. Under his leadership, the Snowflake Partner Network (SPN) expanded from 200 to over 4,000 partners, generating $1 billion in revenue. Frank's strategic vision and leadership transformed Snowflake's partner ecosystem into a thriving community. 

Frank received his Bachelor’s degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Computer Science.

Alexandra Blacutt

Alexandra Blacutt is a seasoned professional in sales, marketing, and public relations, with over a decade of experience across various industries. With a keen eye for crafting strategic campaigns and fostering strong client relationships, Alexandra is recognized for her ability to drive impactful outcomes.

Alexandra has held positions at leading companies such as iCapital Network and GQG Partners, where she excelled in internal sales and client management. Her track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth has earned her recognition as a top performer in the industry.

In addition to her corporate experience, Alexandra is passionate about giving back to her community and has dedicated over a decade to volunteer work at hospitals in Latin America.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Alexandra leverages her multilingual abilities to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas, and holds her Series 7 securities license.

Lindsay Doherty

Lindsay Doherty is a business development leader with over 20 years of marketing and sales experience coupled with product and service development expertise. A consummate “connector” with an open-mind and entrepreneurial approach, Lindsay has a gift for discovering innovative and untapped synergies that enable companies to grow, expand, and scale their business. She is passionate about guiding startup and early-stage organizations to success by helping them develop and implement customized go-to-market, product line, marketing, and sales strategies as well as mutually beneficial strategic partnerships. Lindsay has a unique ability to not only see the big picture, but to see around the bend and position companies to thrive in today’s competitive global marketplace.

Prior to joining Enliven, Lindsay worked extensively with HR and Learning & Development executives to create and implement customized solutions for corporate partners as Associate Director of Corporate Engagement and Partnerships at the University of California Irvine (UCI). While there, she led the creation of UCI’s Global Leadership Certificate program, which builds business leaders’ cultural intelligence, enabling them to better compete in our increasingly global economy.

Lindsay holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Thiel College and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Goldey-Beacom College.

Creative Director/Head of Investor Readiness

Chris Adams

Chris brings nearly 30 years of strategic consulting, senior executive, start-up advising and investment readiness experience to his role as Creative Director which includes leading Enliven’s new Investment Readiness practice.

Chris launched his career with Amazon where he led entertainment business development. He then worked with eBay's Jeff Skoll to build and run Participant Media, then helped to create and Produced UGC-reality TV show "Facebook Diaries," which launched video on the social network. He also worked in a business development and sponsorship acquisition capacity for Comcast.

In 2009 he moved to Brisbane, Australia where he advised dozens of start-ups, helped with multiple IPOs on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX), including serving on the Board of three public companies, and consulted to corporates such as: Seven West Media, National Storage, Sensis/Found Digital and more. He served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence to social impact accelerator Greater Outcomes and as Head of North America for Australian Brand Protection and Consumer Engagement company, Laava.

Upon moving back to the US in late 2022, he has helped to create and is Co-Director of the University of Oregon's Media Innovation Lab within the School of Journalism and Communications as well as serving as the school's Entrepreneur-in-Residence.

Chris earned his dual-BA in English Literature and Communications from The University of Denver as well as dual MFAs in Film and Television and Professional Writing from The University of Southern California.

Director- Public Affairs and Sustainability (ESG) Practice

Tod Gimbel

Tod brings over 30 years of senior executive experience to his role as Director of Enliven’s new Public Affairs and Sustainability (ESG) Practice.  A lawyer by training, he has established himself as a strategist and practitioner in the areas of messaging, stakeholder engagement, reputation building, advocacy and sustainability. 

Tod launched his corporate career in the US in Washington, DC and spent over a decade in Asia before returning to the US in 2019 to take on the role of Senior Vice President Global Government Affairs at Herbalife Nutrition. Tod has worked for well known companies including Citi, Levi Strauss & Co., Kraft Foods (now Modelez), Altria, and Miller Brewing (now Miller-Coors),. Tod was Managing Director of Landmark Asia, a Public Affairs Consultancy representing large corporate clients, NGOs and Trade Associations in the Asia Pacific region.

Tod established his expertise in Public Affairs by developing, directing, and executing successful engagement, reputation building and advocacy programs and initiatives large and small around the world. He began to work in the sustainability space at Levi’s and also led the effort to build the ESG program from scratch at Herbalife Nutrition. That journey equipped him to have a solid “hands on" understanding of what it takes to develop, build, launch and evolve a comprehensive program at a large company.

He is a Strategic Advisor to the Spaceship Academy, which is offering ESG training to entrepreneurs, students, corporates and consultants. 

Tod earned his BA in Political Science and History from Lawrence University as well as a Law degree from Marquette University Law School.
